Making a Claim

For claims notifications or circumstances lodgement in Canada, please follow these simple steps:

Email Notification

Send an email to canadaclaims@probitas1492.com including:

  • Policy number
  • Brief outline of the circumstances
  • Timeline of events
  • Any demand (if applicable)
  • Supporting documents

Cyber Claims

For cyber-related claims, please refer to your policy schedule for incident response manager contact details. They are available 24/7 to provide immediate support following a cyber incident.

What to Expect

  • Your claim will be promptly acknowledged with a reference number.
  • We’ll advise on any additional information required to assess coverage and strategy.
  • Once all details are provided, we’ll outline a proposed way forward—this may include appointing a panel lawyer or adjuster.
  • If an external provider is engaged, they will contact the broker first.
  • Updates will be shared at key milestones, with claims handlers available to answer questions and provide ongoing support.
